Arabic Quran:-

World of Islam        Quran
For Muslims, or followers of Islam, the Quran is the actual Word of Allah revealed through the archangel Gabriel to the Prophet of Islam during the twenty-three-year period of his prophetic mission. It was revealed in the Arabic language as a sonoral revelation which the Prophet repeated to his companions. Arabic became therefore the language of Islam even for non-Arab Muslims.

Under the direction of the Prophet, the verses and chapters were organized in the order known to Muslims to this day (1).

There is only one text of the Quran accepted by all schools of Islamic thought and there are no variants.

The Quran is the central sacred reality of Islam. The sound of the Quran is the first and last sound that a Muslim hears in this life. As the direct Word of Allah and the embodiment of Allah's Will, the Quran is considered as the guide par excellence for the life of Muslims. It is the source of all Islamic doctrines and ethics. Both the intellectual aspects of Islam and Islamic Law have their source in the Quran.

Perhaps there is no book revered by any human collectivity as much as the Quran is revered by Muslims (2).

Essentially a religion of the book, Islam sees all authentic religions as being associated with a scripture. That is why Muslims call Christians and Jews the "people of the book".

Throughout all its chapters and verses, the Quran emphasizes the significance of knowledge (3)
and encourages Muslims to learn and to acquire knowledge not only of Allah's laws and religious injunctions, but also of the world of nature. The Quran refers, in a language rich in its varied terminology, to the importance of seeing, contemplating, and reasoning about the world of creation and its diverse phenomena. It places the gaining of knowledge as the highest religious activity, one that is most pleasing in Allah's eyes.
That is why wherever the message of the Quran was accepted and understood, the quest for knowledge flourished (4).

*** I would like to point out the following items to the unsuspecting readers:

(1)        It is UNTRUE that the final version of the Quran that we have today IS the same as what Muhammad bequeathed to his followers.

According to the Muhammdan Muslim historical record itself regarding the Collection and Compilation of the Quran AFTER Muhammad's death, there were SEVERAL collections and recensions BEFORE arriving to the current version.

(2)        Muhammadan Muslims REVERE the PHYSICAL book of the Quran even WITHOUT understanding its contents.

In the Judeo-Christian traditions, they revere the CONTENTS and NOT the physical books.

(3)        The word Knowledge in Arabic is 'ILM and is INVARIABLY associated with knowledge pertaining to RELIGION and NOT the SCIENCES.

(4)        The quest for knowledge under the umbrella of Muhammadan Islam was achieved IN SPITE of 'Islam' and NOT because of the thirst to gain knowledge engendered by the Quran.

The historical facts prove that under Fundamentalist Muhammadan Islam, all knowledge of Sciences and Art are completely missing. They ONLY  flourished         when the 'Muslim' ruler was TOLERANT and NOT FUNDAMENTALIST.

It is a FACT  that in the last 1450 years of the Arabian Peninsula, no one can name FIVE human beings who have ever contributed anything to human civilization in the Sciences or Arts.

Neither can anyone name FIVE Muhammadan Muslims who have done the same among the hundreds of millions who existed between the years

12:2  We have sent it down as an Arabic Qur'an in order that ye may learn wisdom.

13: 37         Thus have We revealed it to be a judgment of authority in Arabic. Wert thou to follow their (vain) desires after the knowledge which hath reached thee then wouldst thou find neither protector nor defender against Allah.

16:103 We know indeed that they say "It is a man that teaches him." The tongue of him they wickedly point to is notable foreign while this is Arabic pure and clear.

***        Ishaq:180 "According to my information, the Apostle often sat by a young Christian slave named Jabr. The Meccans said, 'He is the one who teaches Muhammad most of what he brings.' Then Allah revealed 16:103".

The slave , although a Christian, must have spoken the Arabic Syriac dialect that Muhammad understood and from which language, the Quran has PLAGIARISED, PLUNDERED, PIRATED and/or PERVERTED hundreds of its most important words, conceps, precepts, thoughts and ideas.

The above verse attempts at denigrating or at best minimising the influence of the Christian slave upon Muhammad's learning from him but the facts as attested to in the Quran and Hadiths prove otherwise ***

20: 113        Thus have we sent this down an Arabic Qur'an and explained therein in detail some of the warnings in order that they may fear Allah or that it may cause their remembrance (of Him).

26:195  In the perspicuous Arabic tongue

39:28 (It is) a Qur'an in Arabic without any crookedness (therein): in order that they may guard against Evil

41:3 A Book whereof the verses are explained in detail a Qur'an in Arabic for people who understand

41:44 Had We sent this as a Qur'an (in a language) other than Arabic they would have said: "Why are not its verses explained in detail? What! (a Book) not in Arabic and (a Messenger) an Arab?" Say: "It is a guide and a healing to those who believe; and for those who believe not there is a deafness in their ears and it is blindness in their (eyes); they are (as it were) being called from a place far distant!"

42:7 Thus have We sent by inspiration to thee an Arabic Qur'an: that thou mayest warn the Mother of Cities and all around her and warn (them) of the Day of Assembly of which there is no doubt: (when) some will be in the Garden and some in the Blazing Fire.
43:3 We have made it a Qur'an in Arabic that ye may be able to understand (and learn wisdom).

46:12  And before this was the Book of Moses as a guide and a mercy; and this Book confirms (it) in the Arabic tongue; to admonish the unjust and as Glad Tidings to those who do right

*** According to the research done by Jeffrey Arthur in his

                        'Foreign words in the Quran',

there are at least One Hundred of the most important words in the Quran that are definitely NOT Arabic but Aramaic, Hebrew, Syriac, Ethiopic, Persian, etc.

This is also the conclusion of many of the Muhammadan philologists.

The Quran, after all, is not pure Arabic as it claims to be
