Dajjal:-
Lit. "false, lying." This name is given in the Ahadith to certain religious imposters who shall appear in the world; a term equivalent to the use of the word Antichrist.
Muhammad is related to have said there would be about thirty. The Masihu 'd-Dajjal, or "the lying Christ," it is said, will be the last of the Dajjals, for an account of whom refer to the article on MASIHU 'D-DAJJAL. According to Abu Dawood, the name is derived from the river Tigris (Dijlah) in Iraq.
The Quran does not mention this character which evolved only in the Ahadith with different versions.
Sunan of Abu-DawoodHadith 4282 Narrated byMu'adh ibn Jabal
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: The greatest war, the conquest of Constantinople and the coming forth of the Dajjal (Antichrist) will take place within a period of seven months.
*** Muhammad's prophesies, like his Quranic stories, are always wrong, unfulfilled and unsubstantiated.
For the 'greatest of all the prophets' to read the future wrongly, again and again, cast a giant shadow regarding his claims for prophet hood and his veracity in particular***
Sunan of Abu-DawoodHadith 4292 Narrated byAbuBakrah
The Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him) said: Some of my people will alight on low-lying ground, which they will call al-Basrah, beside a river called Dajjal (the Tigris) over which there is a bridge. Its people will be numerous and it will be one of the capital cities of immigrants (or one of the capital cities of Muslims, according to the version of Ibn Yahya who reported from AbuMa'mar). At the end of time the descendants of Qantura' will come with broad faces and small eyes and alight on the bank of the river. The town's inhabitants will then separate into three sections, one of which will follow cattle and (live in) the desert and perish, another of which will seek security for themselves and perish, but a third will put their children behind their backs and fight the invaders, and they will be the martyrs.
Sunan of Abu-DawoodHadith 4306 Narrated byUbadah ibn as-Samit
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: I have told you so much about the Dajjal (Antichrist) that I am afraid you may not understand.
The Antichrist is short, hen-toed, woolly-haired, one-eyed, an eye-sightless, and neither protruding nor deep-seated. If you are confused about him, know that your Lord is not one-eyed.
Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 4.462 Narrated byIbn Abbas
The Prophet said, "On the night of my Ascent to the Heaven, I saw Moses who was a tall brown curly-haired man as if he was one of the men of Shan'awa tribe, and I saw Jesus, a man of medium height and moderate complexion inclined to the red and white colors and of lank hair. I also saw Malik, the gate-keeper of the (Hell) Fire and Ad-Dajjal amongst the signs which Allah showed me." (The Prophet then recited the Holy Verse): "So be not you in doubt of meeting him when you met Moses during the night of Mi'raj over the heavens." (32.23)
Narrated Anas and Abu Bakra: "The Prophet said, "The angels will guard Medina from Ad-Dajjal (who will not be able to enter the city of Medina)."
Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 7.627 Narrated byAbu Huraira
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: I have told you so much about the Dajjal (Antichrist) that I am afraid you may not understand. The Antichrist is short, hen-toed, woolly-haired, one-eyed, an eye-sightless, and neither protruding nor deep-seated. If you are confused about him, know that your Lord is not one-eyed.
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: The greatest war, the conquest of Constantinople and the coming forth of the Dajjal (Antichrist) will take place within a period of seven months.
Allah's Apostle said, "Neither Messiah (Ad-Dajjal) nor plague will enter Medina."
The Prophet said, "The terror caused by Al-Masih Ad-Dajjal will not enter Medina and at that time Medina will have seven gates and there will be two angels at each gate (guarding them).
*** As usual the so called 'greatest of all the prophets' was wrong on ALL counts ***
Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 7.789 Narrated byAbdullah bin Umar
Allah's Apostle said, "Today I saw myself in a dream near the Ka'ba. I saw a whitish brown man, the handsomest of all brown men you might ever see. He had the most beautiful Limma (hair hanging down to the earlobes) you might ever see. He had combed it and it was dripping water; and he was performing the Tawaf around the Kaba leaning on two men or on the shoulders of two men. I asked, 'Who is this?' It was said, 'Messiah, the son of Mary.' Suddenly I saw a curly-haired man, blind in the right eye which looked like a protruding out grape. I asked, 'Who is this?' It was said, 'He is Masiah Ad-Dajjal.' "
