Scared Months:-

       According to the pagan Arabian religion, there were four holy months during which time all acts  of war were prohibited:
Muharram (1st);

Rajab (7th);

Dhu al Qa'dah (11th);

Dhu al Hijjah (12th).

The twelve months are:

1 Muharram (which means forbidden in Arabic) was called that because the Arabs used to forbid fighting during it.

2 Safar (which means zero in Arabic) was given this name because the Arabs used to loot all the property of the enemy after defeating them in battle (i.e. they left nothing behind).

3  Rabee’ Al-Awwal (which means graze in Arabic) because they used to graze their cattle during this month.

4 Rabee' Al Thani

5 Jumadaa (which means solid in Arabic) was given this name because water used to freeze during this month.

6 Jumada Al Thani

7 Rajab (which means remove in Arabic) was given this name because the Arabs used to remove the heads of their spears and refrain from fighting.

8 Sha’baan (which is anything positioned between two things in Arabic) was given this name because it comes between Ramadhaan and Rajab.

9 Ramadhaan (which means heat in Arabic) was given this name because of the hot temperature and excessive heat of the son during this month.

10 Shawwaal (which means raise in Arabic) was given this name because she camels would raise their tails when they became pregnant.

11 Thul-Qi’dah (which means sitting in Arabic) was given this name because it was the month during which they would sit and stop fighting.

12 Thul-Hijjah (which refers to Hajj in Arabic) was given this name because it was the month during which they performed Hajj.

       *** The reader should be made aware that every single tradition and fetish of the pagan Arabians was later subsumed in Muhammad's own cult beliefs and conveniently 'Islamized' except Shirk/associating other gods with Allah.

       All that the believers do in their Hajj at Mecca is IDENTICAL to what the pagan Arabs used to do, such as:

Circumambulating the Ka'ba;

kissing the Black Stone;

running between the two mountains;

throwing the stones at (Satan), etc etc.

       Muhammad even INVENTED the appropriate stories to explain these acts in 'Islamic' terms by associating them with Abraham. The Ahadith are replete with these stories.

       Considering the fact that neither Muhammad nor his brother pagan Arabs had any knowledge of the Bible or Abraham, pripor to Muhammad's 'revelations', speaks volumes as to the total lack of veracity of these claims ***

5: 2        O ye who believe! violate not the sanctity of the Symbols of Allah nor of the Sacred Month nor of the animals brought for sacrifice nor the garlands that mark out such animals nor the people resorting to the Sacred House seeking of the bounty and good pleasure of their Lord. But when ye are clear of the Sacred Precincts and of pilgrim garb ye may hunt and let not the hatred of some people in (once) shutting you out of the Sacred Mosque lead you to transgression (and hostility on your part).  Help ye one another in righteousness and piety but help ye not one another in sin and rancor: fear Allah: for Allah is strict in punishment.

5: 97        Allah made the Ka'ba the Sacred House an asylum of security for men as also the Sacred Months the animals for offerings and the garlands that mark them: that ye may know that Allah hath knowledge of what is in the heavens and on earth and that Allah is well acquainted with all things.

9: 5        But when the forbidden months are past then fight and slay the pagans wherever ye find them and seize them beleaguer them and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war); but if they repent and establish regular prayers and practice regular charity then open the way for them: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving Most Merciful.

9:36 The number of months in the sight of Allah is twelve (in a year) so ordained by Him the day He created the heavens and the earth; of them four are sacred; that is the straight usage.  So wrong not yourselves therein and fight the pagans all together as they fight you all together.  But know that Allah is with those who restrain themselves.

       *** Muhammad's record regarding the sanctity of these months is abysmal since it was EXACTLY during these prohibited months that he conducted his piratical ambushes against the pagan Arabs.

       The Ambush of Badr, to start with, occured in Ramadan 2AH.

       Of course he had these nefarious deeds sanctioned through the conveniently 'revealed' verses in his Quran. The Hadiths testify to this fact ***
