Sects:-

In Arabic, Ta'ifa/ Shi'a, have both religious as well as political connotations depending on the context:  sects, denominations, confessions; party, followers, disciples, adherents, partisans or group of.

Muhammad abhorred, hated and deplored the idea of any divisions amongst his followers. He condemned the Jews and Christians for their splits as well as the divisions in sects among each group. He made it crystal clear that any divison amongst his followers into sects would end in disaster.

5: 156  Lest ye should say: The Scripture was revealed only to two sects [ta'ifatain] before us, and we in truth were unaware of what they read...

*** The Quran is alluding to the Jews and Christians and the fact that the pagan Arabs, including Muhammad, were unlearned and unaware of their Books and Revelations***

6: 159  As for those who divide their religion and break up into sects [shiya'a] thou hast no part in them in the least: their affair is with Allah: He will in the end tell them the truth of all that they did.

11: 17         Can they be (like) those who accept a Clear (Sign) from their Lord and whom a witness from Himself doth teach as did the Book of Moses before it a guide and a mercy? They believe therein; but those of the Sects [ahzab] that reject it the Fire will be their promised meeting place. Be not then in doubt thereon: for it is the Truth from thy Lord: yet many among men do not believe!

15: 10         We did send apostles before thee amongst the religious sects [shiya'i] of old:

19: 37          The sects [ahzab] among them differ: but woe unto the disbelievers from the meeting of an awful Day.

23: 52 And lo! this your religion is one religion and I am your Lord, so keep your duty unto Me.53        But they (mankind) have broken their religion among them into sects [hizbi] , each sect rejoicing in its tenets.54 So leave them in their error till a time.

30: 32 Those who split up their Religion and become (mere) Sects [Shia'a] each party rejoicing in that which is with itself!

43: 65 But sects [ahzab] from among themselves fell into disagreement: then woe to the wrongdoers from the Penalty of a Grievous Day!

Sunan of Abu-DawoodHadith 4579        Narrated byAbuHurayra
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: The Jews were split up into seventy-one or seventy-two sects; and the Christians were split up into seventy one or seventy-two sects; and my community will be split up into seventy-three sects.
*** If this statement of Muhammad is factual, then it would be the only prediction of his that turned out to be true, consigning his followers to the same Hell that he has reserved to all so called unbelievers because they eventually did split into so many sects. This fact alone, renders all his efforts at unification into a monolithic entity useless in the end ***

Al-Tirmidhi HadithHadith 171        Narrated byAbdullah ibn Amr
Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said: There will befall my Ummah exactly (all those) evils which befell the people of Isra'il, so much so that if there was one amongst them who openly committed fornication with his mother there will be among my Ummah one who will do that, and if the people of Isra'il were fragmented into seventy-two sects my Ummah will be fragmented into seventy-three sects. All of them will be in Hell Fire except one sect. They (the Companions) said: Allah's Messenger, which is that? Whereupon he said: It is one to which I and my companions belong.    Transmitted by Tirmidhi.

*** In the final analysis, after all the slaughter, conquests and subjugations, Muhammad's followers turned  out to be no better than any of the peoples that Muhammad denigrated, insulted and consigned to eternal Hell in his Quran.

As he asserts here, all the billions of his followers end up in Hell except of course himself and his companions ***

Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 5.89        Narrated byAbu Bakra
I heard the Prophet talking at the pulpit while Al-Hasan was sitting beside him, and he (i.e. the Prophet ) was once looking at the people and at another time Al-Hasan, and saying, "This son of mine is a Saiyid (i.e. chief) and perhaps Allah will bring about an agreement between two sects of the Muslims through him."

Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 9.206        Narrated byHudhaifa bin Al Yaman
The people used to ask Allah's Apostle about the good but I used to ask him about the evil lest I should be overtaken by them. So I said, "O Allah's Apostle! We were living in ignorance and in an (extremely) worst atmosphere, then Allah brought to us this good (i.e., Islam); will there be any evil after this good?" He said, "Yes." I said, "Will there be any good after that evil?" He replied, "Yes, but it will be tainted (not pure.)" I asked, "What will be its taint?" He replied, "There will be some people who will guide others not according to my tradition. You will approve of some of their deeds and disapprove of some others." I asked, "Will there be any evil after that good?" He replied, "Yes, (there will be) some people calling at the gates of the (Hell) Fire, and whoever will respond to their call, will be thrown by them into the (Hell) Fire." I said, "O Allah s Apostle! Will you describe them to us?" He said, "They will be from our own people and will speak our language." I said, "What do you order me to do if such a state should take place in my life?" He said, "Stick to the group of Muslims and their Imam (ruler)." I said, "If there is neither a group of Muslims nor an Imam (ruler)?" He said, "Then turn away from all those sects even if you were to bite (eat) the roots of a tree till death overtakes you while you are in that state."

*** Muhammad's obsession with HELL is an indication of a very troubled
and disturbed mind & soul***
