Al Ahzab (The Confederates) (33)- 73

1        O Prophet! Fear Allah and hearken not to the Unbelievers and the Hypocrites: verily Allah is full of knowledge and wisdom.

#3666        The fifth year A.H. was a critical year in the external history of early Islam, and this Sura must be read in the light of the events that then took place. As explained in the Introduction, the Grand Confederacy against Islam came and invested Madinah and failed utterly. It consisted of the Makkan Unbelievers, the desert Arabs of Central Arabia, the Jews previously expelled for treachery from Madinah, the Jews remaining in Madinah and the Hypocrites led by Abdullah ibn Ubi, who have already been described in ix. 43-110. Their bond of union was the common hatred of Islam, and it snapped under the reverses they met with. It is important to note three points. (1) The Jews as a body now lost their last chance of bearing the standard of Islam: the best of them had already accepted the renewal of Allah's Message. (2) A definite status was given to Prophet's household, after the slanders on Hadhrat Aisha had been stilled (xxiv. 11-26), and the true position of the Mothers of the Believers had been cleared. (3) A further exposition of the purity of sex relation was given, based on the story of Hadhrat Zainab, the "Mother of the Poor". These points will be referred to in later notes.#

*** The reader should be appraised of the following points disputing and refuting the perverted version of history as given by the interpreter and the victorious Muhammadans:

1        It was Muhammad who was the one who started the wars against his own kith and kin, the Quraiysh to start with.

2        It was Muhammad who in the first place, attacked their religion, their traditions and their beliefs, and yet they let him live amongst them. This was pure democracy, since they allowed him an icredible latitude in his freedom of speech that when he was victorious over them, he deprived them of it.

3        It was Muhammad who, when he realised that the Jews would not accept him as the 'promised Messiah' nor as a prophet, who turned against them.

4        It was Muhammad who betrayed the Jews who had given him protection from his enemies, the Quraiysh.

5        It is a historical fact, that the Jews of the Madina had existed for almost 1000 years among the pagan Arabs without much trouble.

It is also a historical fact that within 15 years of Muhammda's arrival in the Madina and the propagation of his 'Isalm', the Jews and Christians of Arabia were either exterminated, forced to convert or expelled from their native land.

6        It is a further historical fact, which the reader must recognize, is that these 'Jews'  & Christians, were native Arabian tribes that converted to the religion of the Jews, the Mosaic Faith - or to Christianity - without the use of force.

These tribes were not foreign peoples. They were pure Arabs who had as much right to live in peace in their lands as the Muhammadan Muslims who consequently violated them.

7         ISLAM is a concept and NOT a religion. It is the concept that there is ONLY ONE GOD and no others. Muhammad did not discover nor invent this concept, since it was handed to him on 'a platter' by the  Arabian 'Jews'.

Their belief in the One and Only God, preceded Muhammad's 'discovery' by at least 2100 years. The Jews were, are, and will forever be, MUSLIMS. It was their idea in the first place.

Neither Muhammad, nor his followers have the sole right to be called Muslims, since any creature in the Universe who believes in the One and Only God, is automatically a Muslim, based on the Arabic language of the Quran itself.

8        Based upon the Quranic verses themselves, it is Muhammad's version of Islam that HATES all those who do not believe as he does, and NOT the other way round.

After all, it was Muhammad who instigated all acts of aggression against the Quraiysh, the Jews, the Christians and later on, ALL the tribes of Arabia to FORCE them to submit to his will, by accepting his version of Islam.

It is also a fact, that HISTORY is invariably re-written by the victor.

The Muhammadans destroyed almost all the previous records of the conquered peoples and then demonised all those who opposed them thus giving themselves the best execuse as to why they murdered, raped, enslaved, occupied and plundred peoples on three continents ***

2        But follow that which comes to thee by inspiration from thy Lord: for Allah is well acquainted with (all) that ye do

3        And put thy trust in Allah and enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs.

4        Allah has not made for any man two hearts in his (one) body: nor has He made your wives whom ye divorce by Zihar your mothers: nor has He made your adopted sons your sons.  Such is (only) your (manner of) speech by your mouths.  But Allah tells (you) the Truth and He shows the (right) Way.

*** Verses 2,3,4 & 5, were conveniently 'revealed' to allow Muhammad to 'marry' Zainab bint Jahsh the wife of his adopted son Zaid bin Haritha.

The Muhammadan historical record, based upon the Hadiths, make it crystal clear, that Muhammad was besotted by her beauty and wanted her for himself; thus, Allah, as usual,  'revealed' to him with alacrity, new rules that actually abrogated Arabian traditions that existed for centuries, just to please the lust of Muhammad.

All the exhaustive explanations of the interpreter trying to give this unholy relationship an aura of sanctity fail, based entirely upon the 'Muslim' records themselves ***

5        Call them by (the names) of their fathers: that is juster in the sight of Allah but if ye know not their father's (names call them) your Brothers in faith or your Maulas.  But there is no blame on you if ye make a mistake therein: (what counts is) the intention of your hearts: and Allah is Oft-Returning Most Merciful.

6        The Prophet is closer to the Believers than their own selves and his wives are their mothers.  Blood-relations among each other have closer personal ties in the Decree of Allah than (the Brotherhood of) Believers and Muhajirs: nevertheless do ye what is just to your closest friends: such is the writing in the Decree (of Allah).

7>        And remember We took from the Prophets their Covenant as (We did) from thee: from Noah Abraham Moses and Jesus the son of Mary: We took from them a solemn Covenant:

8>        That (Allah) may question the (Custodians) of Truth concerning the Truth they (were charged with): and He has prepared for the Unbelievers a grievous Penalty

9>        O ye who believe! Remember the Grace of Allah (bestowed) on you when there came down on you hosts (to overwhelm you): but We sent against them a hurricane and force that ye saw not.  But Allah sees (clearly) all that ye do.

10        Behold! they came on you from above you and from below you and behold the eyes became dim and the hearts gaped up to the throats and ye imagined various (vain) thoughts about Allah!

11        In that situation were the Believers tried: they were shaken as by a tremendous shaking.

12        And behold! the Hypocrites and those in whose hearts is a disease (even) say: "Allah and His Apostle promised us nothing but delusion!"

13        Behold! a party among them said: "Ye men of Yathrib! Ye cannot stand (the attack)! Therefore go back!" and a band of them ask for leave of the Prophet saying "Truly our houses are bare and exposed" though they were not exposed: they intended nothing but to run away.

14        And if an entry had been effected to them from the sides of the (City) and they had been incited to sedition they would certainly have brought it to pass with none but a brief delay!

15>        And yet they had already covenanted with Allah not to turn their backs and a covenant with Allah must (surely) be answered for.

16        Say: "Running away will not profit you if ye are running away from death or slaughter; and even if (ye do escape) no more than a brief (respite) will ye be allowed to enjoy!"

17>        Say: "Who is it that can screen you from Allah if it be His wish to give you Punishment or to give you Mercy?" Nor will they find for themselves besides Allah any protector or helper.

18        Verily Allah knows those among you who keep back (men) and those who say to their brethren "Come along to us" but come not to the fight except for just a little while.

19        Covetous over you.  Then when fear comes thou wilt see them looking to thee their eyes revolving like (those of) one over whom hovers death: but when the fear is past they will smite you with sharp tongues covetous of goods.  Such men have no faith and so Allah has made their deeds of none effect: and that is easy for Allah.

20        They think that the Confederates have not withdrawn; and if the Confederates should come (again) they would wish they were in the deserts (wandering) among the Bedouins and seeking news about you (from a safe distance); and if they were in your midst they would fight but little.

21        Ye have indeed in the Apostle of Allah a beautiful pattern of (conduct) for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Final Day and who engages much in the praise of Allah.

#3694        We now have the psychology of the Believers,-God-fearing men, led by that pattern of men and of leaders, Muhammad Al-Mustafa#]

*** The Quran is exhorting the followers of Muhammad to emulate his lifestyle, his principles, his practices, the manner of his dress, his behaviour and all other minutae pertaining to him at all times as an example of a 'perfect' man.

This instruction - the SUNNA - confines his followers to remain forever in the Time Warp of the seventh century period of history ***

22        When the Believers saw the Confederate forces they said: "This is what Allah and His Apostle had promised us and Allah and his Apostle told us what was true." And it only added to their faith and their zeal in obedience.

23        Among the Believers are men who have been true to their Covenant with Allah: of them some have completed their vow to (the extreme) and some (still) wait: but they have never changed (their determination) in the least:

24        That Allah may reward the men of Truth for their Truth and punish the Hypocrites if that be His Will or turn to them in Mercy: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving Most Merciful.

25        And Allah turned back the Unbelievers for (all) their fury: no advantage did they gain and enough is Allah for the Believers in their fight. And Allah is full of Strength Able to enforce His Will.

26          And those of the people of the Book who aided them Allah did take them down from their strongholds and cast terror into their hearts (so that) some ye slew and some ye made prisoners.

       # 3701        The reference is to the Jewish tribe of the Banu Quraiza. They counted among the citizens of Madinah and were bound by solemn engagements to help in the defence of the City. But on the occasion of the Confederate siege by the Quraish and their allies they intrigued with the enemies and treacherously aided them. Immediately after the siege was raised and the Confederates had fled in hot haste, the Prophet turned his attention to these treacherous "friends" who had betrayed his City in the hour of danger. 3702        The Banu Quraiza (see last note) were filled with terror and dismay when Madinah was free from the Quraish danger. They shut themselves up in their castles about three or four miles to the east (or north east) of Madinah, and sustained a siege of 25 days, after which they surrendered, stipulating that they would abide by the decision of their fate at the hands of Sad ibn Mu'az, chief of the Aus tribe, with which they had been in alliance. 3703        Sad applied to them the Jewish Law of the Old Testament, not as strictly as the case warranted. In Deut. xx. 10-18, the treatment of a city "which is very far off from thee" is prescribed to be comparatively more lenient than the treatment of a city "of those people, which the Lord thy God does give thee for an inheritance," i.e., which is near enough to corrupt the religion of the Jewish people. The punishment for these is total annihilation: "thou shalt save alive nothing that breatheth" (Deut. xx. 16). The more lenient treatment for far-off cities is described in the next note. According to the Jewish standard, then, the Banu Quraiza deserved total extermination-of men, women, and children. They were in the territory of Madinah itself, and further they had broken their engagements and helped the enemy. 3704        Sad adjudged them the milder treatment of the "far-off" cities which is thus described in the Jewish Law: "Thou shalt smite every male thereof with the edge of the sword: but the women and the little ones, and the cattle, and all that is in the city, even all the spoil thereof, shalt thou take unto thyself, and thou shalt eat the spoil of thine enemies, which the Lord thy God hath given thee" (Deut. xx. 13-14). The men of the Quraiza were slain: the women were sold as captives of war; and their lands and properties were divided among the Muhijirs.#

*** Only the one sided and self-serving Muhammadan Muslim version of the events described above exist; the version of the victor, but nothing from the vanquished.

Despite the lack of evidence to the contrary, every 'crime scene', when exhaustively and properly analyzed, will invariably yield very important and pertinent clues and information.

In the case of the 'Jews' of Arabia, the whole of the Arabian Peninsula should be considered a crime scene, since what happened in Madina was later translated all over this land.

According to Arab/Islamic history, the Madina was surrounded by its enemies
- over ten thousand able bodied confederates - for a few weeks, during which, an abysmally and unbelievably minute number of combatants - twenty - died from both sides.

This can only mean, that there were no worthy battles or confrontations to speak of; if the event itself did actually occur.

If it were true, that the Jews from inside and the pagans from outside, were such a formidable force and threat, then the outcome of the 'battle' should have been more drastic and bloody. It obviously was not.

Yet, remarkably, after the siege had been lifted, Muhammad and his 'valiant' soldiers, were able to murder at least 600 able bodied Jews from the leading Qurayzah tribe with the loss of none among the Muhammadan Muslims. Such an event can only happen, if the Jews were unarmed and/or tricked to their death.

Even before the siege of the Madina - and the alleged treachery of the Jews - Muhammad and his Muhajiroun expelled another of its Jewish tribes, the Nadir.

The systematic expulsions, murders, dispossession, forced conversion and the final eradication of the 'Jewish' presence in Arabia was relentless and deliberate; its sole purpose was to take over the wealth of these tribes and to remove them as a present and future religious challenge to Muhammad, his lies, his deception and his version of Islam.

The same process of elimination was later applied to the Christian Arab tribes.

Umar Ibn al Khattab, the second Khalifa, finalized this systematic eradication by treacherously breaking the solemn treaties agreed upon between Muhammad and the Christian and Jewish tribes in northern Arabia.

When an investigator looks at all the above evidence, the only conclusion one can arrive at is, that the alleged 'treachery' of the Jews was a cover story by the criminals
- Muhammad and his followers - to justify their crime ***

27        And He made you heirs of their lands their houses and their goods and of a land which ye had not frequented (before).  And Allah has power over all things.

#3705        This part of the Sura is considered a prophecy. It may refer to the conquest of Khaibar. Khaibar is a Harrat or volcanic tract, well-watered with many springs issuing from its basaltic rocks. It has a good irrigation system and produces good harvests of grain and dates in its wet valleys, while the outcrop of rocks in the high ground affords sites for numerous fortresses. In the holy Prophet's time there were Jewish colonies settled here, but they were a source of constant trouble especially after Siege of Madinah. It became a nest of all the hostile Jewish elements expelled for their treachery from elsewhere. Its capital, Khaibar, is about 90 miles due north of Madinah. Its inhabitants offered some resistance, and Hadhrat 'Ali, though he had just risen from a bed of illness, performed prodigies of valour. After its surrender, a land settlement was made, which retained the cultivators of the soil on the land, but brought them under control, so that no further focus of active hostility should remain near Madinah. The terms of the settlement will be found in Waqidi.#

*** The above explanations are just the continuation of excuses, lies, deceptions, deliberate contortion and distortions of history, to justify, excuse and explain away the wanton destruction of the Jews in Arabia.

Assuming for an instance that the Jews were 'guilty', why then were the Christians also subjected to the same fate? The Christians who protected the followers of Muhammad when they escaped to Ethiopia, as recorded in the history of the Arabs ?

Muhammadan historians deliberately and falsely accused the Jews of treason to justify the deliberate murder of their men, the enslavement and rape of their women and children, and the taking over of their thriving businesses and productive lands ***

28        O Prophet! say to thy Consorts: "If it be that ye desire the life of this world and its glitter then come! I will provide for your enjoyment and set you free in a handsome manner."

29        But if ye seek Allah and His Apostle and the Home of the Hereafter verily Allah has prepared for the well-doers amongst you a great reward.

30        O Consorts of the Prophet! if any of you were guilty of evident unseemly conduct the Punishment would be doubled to her and that is easy for Allah.
#3708        "Evident unseemly conduct" i.e., proved misconduct, as opposed to false slanders from enemies. Such slanders were of no account, but if any of them had behaved in an unseemly manner, it would have been a worse offence than in the case of ordinary women, on account of their special position. Of course none of them were in the least guilty. (33.30)3709        Cf. xxxiii. 19 and n. 3692. The punishment in this life for a married woman's unchastity is very severe: for fornication, public flogging with a hundred stripes, under xxiv. 2; or for lewdness (see iv. 15) imprisonment; or stoning to death for adultery, according to certain precedents established in Canon Law. But here the question is not about this kind of punishment or this kind of offence. Even minor indiscretions, in the case of women who were patterns of decorum, would have been reprehensible; and the punishment in the Hereafter is on a higher plane, which we can scarcely understand. (33.30)#
*** In the whole of the Quran there is no instruction to inflict death upon a fornicator or an adulterer, only 100 lashes/stripes.

The followers of Muhammad nontheless use the Sunna of Muhammad to supercede that of the Quran, by stoning adulterers to death which they of course copied from the Torah***

31        But any of you that is devout in the service of Allah and His Apostle and works righteousness to her shall We grant her reward twice: and We have prepared for her a generous Sustenance.

32        O Consorts of the Prophet! ye are not like any of the (other) women: if ye do fear (Allah) be not too complaisant of speech lest one in whose heart is a disease should be moved with desire: but speak ye a speech (that is) just.
#3712        This is the core of the whole passage. The Prophet's Consorts were not like ordinary women, nor was their marriage an ordinary marriage, in which only personal or social considerations enter. They had a special position and special responsibilities, in the matter of guiding and instructing women who came into the fold of Islam. Islam is a Way of Life, and the Muslims are a family: women have as much place in Islam as men, and their intimate instruction must obviously be through women#

*** Contrary to the assertions of the interpreter, women under 'Islam' suffer enormous discrimination, oppression and lack of human rights as is obvious in most of the current Muhammadan states all over the world where over 50% of their nationals
- women - are disfranchised and relegated to second class citizenship***

33        And stay quietly in your houses and make not a dazzling display like that of the former Times of Ignorance; and establish regular Prayer and give regular Charity; and obey Allah and His Apostle.  And Allah only wishes to remove all abomination from you ye Members of the Family and to make you pure and spotless.

*** It is based on the history of the Arabs, that the women in the
'times of ignorance', had more freedoms and rights than they can ever have under Muhammadan Islam which treats them, in Aisha's - Muhammad's wife's words -
similar to
                    'donkeys and dogs' ***

34        And recite what is rehearsed to you in your homes of the Signs of Allah and His wisdom: for Allah understands the finest mysteries and is well-acquainted (with them).

35          For Muslim men and women for believing men and women for devout men and women for true men and women for men and women who are patient and constant for men and women who humble themselves for men and women who give in charity for men and women who fast (and deny themselves) for men and women who guard their chastity and for men and women who engage much in Allah's praise for them has Allah prepared forgiveness and great reward.

       # 3718        Islam, or submitting our will to Allah's Will, includes all the virtues, as particularly specified in this verse. See n. 3720. 3719        A number of Muslim virtues are specified here, but the chief stress is laid on the fact that these virtues are as necessary to women as to men. Both sexes have spiritual as well as human rights and duties in an equal degree, and the future "reward" of the Hereafter. 3720        The virtues referred to are: (1) Faith, hope, and trust in Allah, and in His benevolent government of the world; (2) devotion and service in practical life; (3) love and practice of truth, in thought and intention, word and deed; (4) patience and constancy, in suffering and in right endeavour; (5) humility, the avoidance of an attitude of arrogance and superiority; (6) charity, i.e., help to the poor and unfortunate ones in life, a special virtue arising out of the general duty of service (No. 2); (7) self-control, typically in food, but generally in all appetites; (8) chastity, purity in sex life, purity in motive, thought, word, and deed; and (9) constant attention to Allah's Message, and cultivation of the desire to get nearer to Allah#

*** In reality, the Muslim women are rarely accorded the same privileges and rights as the men. In fact, they are invariably treated more as domestic property and third class citizens.

Fundamentalist Muhammadan Islam, gives women even less rights and no freedom at all. What the Quran instructs and what Muslim men actually obey are worlds apart.

While the women are supposed to be covered from head to toe - as if they were private parts, to be hidden - the men display their bodies and ornaments and rarely follow the 'chastity' rules***

36        It is not fitting for a Believer man or woman when a matter has been decided by Allah and His Apostle to have any option about their decision: if anyone disobeys Allah and His Apostle he is indeed on a clearly wrong Path.

*** The believer, should follow the 'decisions' of Allah & Muhammad to the letter. Since in actuality, it was ONLY Muhammad who was hearing all these 'decisions', then one can easily conclude that the believers NEVER once heard directly, the words of Allah.

This is the opposite of what transpired to the Israelites at Mount Sinai, where the whole people were witness to the events that transpired, in broad daylight, and not in the stealth of night, as is invariably the case with Muhammad, his 'revelations' and imaginary angelic encounters ***

37        Behold! thou didst say to one who had received the grace of Allah and thy favor: "Retain thou (in wedlock) thy wife and fear Allah." But thou didst hide in thy heart that which Allah was about to make manifest: thou didst fear the people but it is more fitting that thou shouldst fear Allah.  Then when Zaid had dissolved (his marriage) with her with the necessary (formality) We joined her in marriage to thee: in order that (in future) there may be no difficulty to the Believers in (the matter of) marriage with the wives of their adopted sons when the latter have dissolved with the necessary (formality) (their marriage) with them: and Allah's command must be fulfilled.

#3722        This was Zaid son of Haritha, one of the first to accept the faith of Islam. He was a freedman of the holy Prophet, who loved him as a son and gave him in marriage his own cousin Zainab. The marriage however turned out to be unhappy. See next note. (33.37)3723        Zaid's marriage with the Prophet's cousin Zainab daughter of Jahsh did not turn out happy. Zainab the high-born looked down upon Zaid the freedman who had been a slave. And he was not comely to look at. Both were good people in their own way, and both loved the Prophet, but there was mutual incompatibility and this is fatal to married life. Zaid wished to divorce her, but the Prophet asked him to hold his hand, and he obeyed. She was closely related to the Prophet; he had given a handsome marriage gift on her marriage to Zaid; and people would certainly talk if such a marriage was broken off. But marriages are made on earth, not in heaven, and it is no part of Allah's Plan to torture people in a bond which should be a source of happiness but actually is a source of misery. Zaid's wish-indeed the mutual wish of the couple-was for the time being put away, but it became eventually an established fact, and everybody came to know of it#

***  This is another MADE TO ORDER verse to justify Muhammad's lust for, and  relationship with, the extremely beautiful Zainab. He literally 'allowed' Zaid
- his adopted son - to divorce her so that she can become his woman contrary to the traditions of the pagan Arabs.

To make sure that this unusual act is made acceptable, the most attentive Allah, conveniently and on queue, 'revealed' the following verses as can be asserted by the Hadith below:

Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 9.516        Narrated byAnas
Zaid bin Haritha came to the Prophet complaining about his wife. The Prophet kept on saying (to him), "Be afraid of Allah and keep your wife." 'Aisha said, "If Allah's Apostle were to conceal anything (of the Qur'an) he would have concealed this Verse." Zainab used to boast before the wives of the Prophet and used to say, "You were given in marriage by your families, while I was married (to the Prophet) by Allah from over seven Heavens." And Thabit recited, "The Verse:  'But (O Muhammad) you did hide in your heart that which Allah was about to make manifest, you did fear the people,'  (33.37) was revealed in connection with Zainab and Zaid bin Haritha."

   Annals of al-Tabari, 2:453.
We read the following in a tradition by al-Tabari: "The Messenger of Allah went out one day seeking him. On Zaid's door was a curtain, which the wind moved to show her unveiled in her chamber. The heart of the Prophet was stricken by admiration for her"
    Annals of al-Tabari, 8:101ff., 22:13; Usd al-ghaba, 5:463ff.; al-Kashshaf, 2:539; al-Khazin, 5:320 (In Majma` al-tafasir).
"The Messenger of Allah saw her after he married her off, and he was deeply moved by her. Then he said, 'Praise be to Him, who changes the hearts!' She mentioned this to Zaid, whose soul was already estranged from her and did not want her, so that he even would let her marry another if she willed it! When she heard Muhammad praise Allah, she told it to Zaid who perceived what it meant and started to develop a dislike for her company and wanted to leave her for the Messenger of Allah"

The reader should be aware of two very important items relating to the above:

1        Contrary to all the perverted and forced explanations of Muhammadan scholars, the 'Islamic' records themselves point to a man who was prone to weaknesses and feelings like most other men and not the sinless superman that they try their best to make him be.

2        All the verses above were 'revealed' AFTER the events took place, to justify and explain them away. The reader will find, that this is true of almost EVERY verse of relevance in the Quran. The Hadiths themselves give chapter and verse concerning the veracity of this incredibly important conclusion***

38        There can be no difficulty to the Prophet in what Allah has indicated to him as a duty. It was the practice (approved) of Allah amongst those of old that have passed away and the command of Allah is a decree determined.

39        (It is the practice of those) who preach the Messages of Allah and fear Him and fear none but Allah: and enough is Allah to call (men) to account.

33:40                  Muhammad is not the father of any of your men but (he is) the Apostle of Allah and the Seal [Khatim] of the Prophets: and Allah has full knowledge of all things.

       # 3731        When a document is sealed, it is complete, and there can be no further addition. The holy Prophet Muhammad closed the long line of Messengers. Allah's teaching is and will always be continuous, but there has been and will be no Prophet after Muhammad. The later ages will want thinkers and reformers, not Prophets. This is not an arbitrary matter. It is a decree full of knowledge and wisdom: "for Allah has full knowledge of all things."#

*** This verse has been misinterpreted and misrepresented by all Muhammadan scholars. Khatim/Seal, does not mean the LAST since it is not Arabic in origin because it is derived from the Hebrew Khatima, meaning both Seal as well as Inscribed, but NOT LAST.

The followers of Muhammad, deliberately falsified the meaning so that no other humans, could or would, claim the status of prophet after Muhammad.

God would not stop men from the right and freedom of being prophets. Such men or women are needed to right wrongs among peoples. #

Moses was very astute and prophetic as well as practical when he predicted and advised his people, Israel, that there will be other prophets after him; that they should ignore any one claiming prophethood who asked them to stray from the path of the Torah, just as Muhammad attempted with the Jews of Arabia.

The Bible did not close the door and pretend that Moses was the one and only prophet. In fact there were tens of other prophets after him. Neither did Jesus. Only Muhammad, arrogated such a position for himself.

In fact, in the Shia doctrine of the Mahdi (the one who will show the way), he will be the future Messiah of Muhammadan Islam.

Once more, another concept is plagiarised and copied by Muhammad and his followers from the People of the Book ***

41>        O ye who believe! celebrate the praises of Allah and do this often;

42>        And glorify Him morning and evening.

43>        He it is Who sends blessings on you as do His angels that He may bring you out from the depths of Darkness into Light: and He is Full of Mercy to the Believers.

44>        Their salutation on the Day they meet Him will be "peace!": and He has prepared for them a generous Reward.

45        O Prophet! Truly We have sent thee as a Witness a Bearer of Glad Tidings and a Warner

46        And as one who invites to Allah's (Grace) by His leave and as a Lamp spreading Light.

47        Then give the glad tidings to the Believers that they shall have from Allah a very great Bounty.

48        And obey not (the behests) of the Unbelievers and the Hypocrites and heed not their annoyances but put thy trust in Allah for enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs.

49        O ye who believe! when ye marry believing women and then divorce them before ye have touched them no period of `Iddah have ye to count in respect of them: so give them a present and set them free in a handsome manner.

50        O prophet! We have made lawful to thee thy wives to whom thou hast paid their dowers; and those whom thy right hand possesses out of the prisoners of war whom Allah has assigned to thee; and daughters of thy paternal uncles and aunts and daughters of thy maternal uncles and aunts who migrated (from Mecca) with thee; and any believing woman who dedicates her soul to the Prophet if the Prophet wishes to wed her this only for thee and not for the Believers (at large); We know what We have appointed for them as to their wives and the captives whom their right hands possess in order that there should be no difficulty for Thee.  And Allah is Oft-Forgiving Most Merciful.

#3741        This introduces no new exemption or privilege. Verses 50-52 merely declare the points in which, on account of the special circumstances (see n. 3706 above), the Prophet's marriages differed from those of ordinary Muslims. This is considered under four heads, which we shall examine in the four notes following. (33.50) 3742        Head 1. Marriage with dower (iv. 4): this is the universal Muslim marriage. The difference in the Prophet's case was that there was no limitation to the number of four (iv. 3), and women of the People of the Book (v. 6) were not among his wives, but only Believers. These points are not expressly mentioned here, but are inferred by his actual practice. Obviously women who are expected to instruct other women in Islam must be Muslims. 3743        Head 2. Women Prisoners of War: the same remark as in the last note. 3744        Head 3. These are first cousins, and not within the Prohibited Degrees of Marriage (see iv. 23-24). These are specially mentioned here by way of limitation. None of them could marry the Prophet unless she had performed the Hijrat with him. 3745        Head 4. A believing woman who gives herself to the Prophet: obviously this case, like the last, is only applicable to the Prophet, and it is hedged round with the limitation that the Prophet considers it suitable. 3746        The ordinary law of Muslim marriage will be found chiefly in ii. 221-235, iv. 19-25, iv. 34-35, and v. 6. 3747        The words "this only for thee ... right hands possess" are parenthetical, and the words "in order that..." connect on with the previous clauses beginning with "O Prophet, We have made lawful .... wishes to wed her".3748        Marriage is an important relationship not only in our physical life, but in our moral and spiritual life, and its effects extend not only to the parties themselves but to children and future generations, A number of special problems arise according to special circumstances. Every man and woman must seriously consider all sides of the question and must do the best in his or her power to temper instincts and inclinations with wisdom and guidance from Allah. Allah wishes to make every one's path easy, for He is indeed "Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful"#

*** By studying the Quran carefully, one will realize that almost every important verse corresponds to an event that transpired before that verse was very appropriately and conveniently 'descended' to Muhammad.

Allah was extremely mindful of Muhammad during the 23 years of his 'prophethood' with hundreds of verses - as repeatedly mentioned in the Ahadith - justifying any and all his deeds and requirements. All of them are not prophetic pronouncements but are actually in hindsight.

In the example above, Muhammad had already married several women - many more than four - before this aya/verse was promulgated, conveniently justifying his excesses. The case is also true regarding every aya/verse which described a battle or an important event.

These verses justified and explained the events that had already transpired. The Quran is not only a theological treaties but also a semi historical account of the personal and private life and times of Muhammad ***

51        Thou mayest defer (the turn of) any of them that thou pleasest and thou mayest receive any thou pleasest: and there is no blame on thee if thou invite one whose (turn) thou hadst set aside.  This were nigher to the cooling of their eyes the prevention of their grief and their satisfaction--that of all of them--with that which thou hast to give them: and Allah knows (all) that is in your hearts: and Allah is All-Knowing Most Forbearing.

*** Allah sanctifies the lusts and sexual needs of his messenger at the cost of the subjugation of the females in his life entirely to his will ***

52        It is not lawful for thee (to marry more) women after this nor to change them for (other) wives even though their beauty attract thee except any thy right hand should possess (as handmaidens): and Allah doth watch over all things.

***In the whole of the Bible, which contains the lives and acts of at least two dozen prophets, not once is there mention of the sexual needs, preferences and appetites of these men.

In fact, there is no other so called holy book in existance, that delves into the intimate and private life of its prophet(s), excepting in Muhammad's Quran***

53        O ye who Believe! enter not the Prophet's houses until leave is given you for a meal (and then) not (so early as) to wait for its preparation: but when ye are invited enter; and when ye have taken your meal disperse without seeking familiar talk.  Such (behavior) annoys the Prophet: He is ashamed to dismiss you but Allah is not ashamed (to tell you) the truth.  And when ye ask (his ladies) for anything ye want ask them from before a screen: that makes for greater purity for your hearts and for theirs.  Nor is it right for you that ye should annoy Allah's Apostle or that ye should marry his widows after him at any time.  Truly such a thing is in Allah's sight an enormity.

#3755        The rules of refined social ethics is as necessary to teach to-day as it was with the rude Arabs whom the holy Prophet had to teach in his day. Those mentioned in this verse may be briefly recapitulated thus: (1) Enter not a friend's house without permission; (2) if invited to dine, don't go too early; you are asked to dine, not to wait for the preparation of the food; (3) be there at the time appointed, so that you enter when you are expected and invited; (4) after the meal, don't get familiar with your host, especially if there is a great distance between him and you; (5) don't waste time in tittle-tattle, causing inconvenience and perhaps annoyance to your host; (6) understand what is proper behaviour for you: he may be too polite to ask to depart. All this has a social bearng: respect and delicate consideration for others are among the highest virtues. (33.53)3756        The actual manner of showing respect to ladies may be different in different circumstances. But it is an essential principle of good society to show the greatest deference to them. To the "Mothers of the Believers" this respect was due in an exceptional degree. (33.53)3757        Considering his position, the holy Prophet deserved to be respected before all other men and nothing should be done to cause him the least harm and annoyance. This applied not only during his life-time, but it applies now, because his teaching and personality are alive to us. It was not fitting that his widows, both for their own position and for the position of the Prophet, should be married by other men after him. And this mark of respect was duly observed in history. (33.53)3758        "Annoy": Aza (IV) may equally mean: to vex, to cause hurt or injury, to insult, to ill-treat by slander or unseemly conduct, or hurt the feelings of (some one). The Prophet came with a divine mission to teach and reclaim the world, and he is entitied to the respect of all, even of those who do not consciously acknowledge his mission, for his mission works constantly like the forces of nature. In a minor degree the "Mothers of the Believers" are also entitied to respect. (33.53)

*** This is the  actual 'revelation' of Al Hijab/Veil that Muhammadan scholars have totally perverted the meaning thereof to suit the male chauvinists against the females.

Reading the interpretations that follow the verse makes it abundantly clear that this verse was conveniently 'revealed' - like thousands of others in the Quran - to suit his whims as well as what Muhammad himself considered appropriate or against what annoyed him personally.

In the whole of the Bible, God never instructed either the followers of Moses nor of Jesus on how to behave in their presence.

Such a verse can only confirm that each of the Quranic verses was written in hindsight to give an instruction, to show an example, to act as a parable and/or to excuse an act made by Muhammad or his followers.

Thus, by making it sound as if it were given by Allah, it would give it immense importance and makes it sacrilegious to break.

There are neither moral nor theological reasons for the Almighty to 'reveal' such a verse. Also, contrary to the self-serving twisted interpretation of the verse, there is no mention or even a hint that the 'Muslim' woman should be covered completely except for her eyes.

In fact the word 'Hijab' used in this verse is to denote a 'screen/divide/curtain' to separate the living quarters from the guests.

There are at least 16 reports in the Hadith of al Bukhari which makes it clear that this is the case. (BH 6.313) ***

54        Whether ye reveal anything or conceal it verily Allah has full knowledge of all things.

55        There is no blame (on these ladies if they appear) before their fathers or their sons their brothers or their brothers' sons or their sisters' sons or their women or the (slaves) whom their right hands possess.  And (ladies) fear Allah: for Allah is Witness to all things.

56>        Allah and His angels send blessings on the Prophet: O ye that believe! send ye blessings on him and salute him with all respect.

#3761        Allah and His angels honour and bless the holy Prophet as the greatest of men. We are asked to honour and bless him all the more because he took upon himself to suffer the sorrows and afflictions of this life in order to guide us to Allah's Mercy and the highest inner Life. (33.56)#

*** Why would Allah and his angels bless and salute a mere human?

Neither Moses, nor any of the other great prophets of history, including Jesus, were accorded such high esteem by God.

Only the self aggrandizing, self magnifying image of Muhammad could, such incredibly unusual and unwarranted verses be conveniently 'descended' and/or 'revealed' to in the Quran***

57        Those who annoy Allah and his Apostle Allah has cursed them in this world and in the Hereafter and has prepared for them a humiliating Punishment.

*** In these verses, a Personality Cult is being created elevating and almost attempting to equate Muhammad to Allah in importance; this by itself is blasphemous.

Why would the Almighty - if Allah is God - the Merciful, the Compassionate, the creator of the universe, stoop so low, as to curse a mere human who may annoy Muhammad?

Not even Moses - the one who spoke directly to God - was granted such importance.

Why would Allah be so intimately involved in the personal affairs and needs and proclivities of Muhammad?

It beggars logic and theology, that this can possibly be the true facts ***

58        And those who annoy believing men and women undeservedly bear (on themselves) a calumny and a glaring sin.

59        O prophet! tell thy wives and daughters and the believing women that they should cast their outer garments over their persons (when abroad): that is most convenient that they should be known (as such) and not molested: and Allah is Oft-Forgiving Most Merciful.

*** The above instruction was to prohibit the Muhammadan Muslim women from exposing themselves naked as used to happen in pagan Arabia.

It could not possibly have meant that that they should be so covered, as if they were genitals and not human beings ***

60        Truly if the Hypocrites and those in whose hearts is a disease and those who stir up sedition in the City [Madina] desist not We shall certainly stir thee up against them: then will they not be able to stay in it as thy neighbors for any length of time:

*** The word City in the verse above is obviously a mistranslation since in the Arabic, the word used, is Madina.

Madina, was the name of that part of the town where the 'Jews' resided while the pagan Arabs lived in Yathrub.

In the days of Muhammad, Mecca and Madina were NOT cities as understood in other civilizations but were small towns or villages, the Arabic for which is Qura***

61        They shall have a curse on them: wherever they are found they shall be seized and slain (without mercy).

62        (Such was) the practice (approved) of Allah among those who lived aforetime: no change wilt thou find in the practice (approved) of Allah.

63>        Men ask thee concerning the Hour: say "The knowledge thereof is with Allah (alone)": and what will make thee understand? Perchance the Hour is nigh!

64>        Verily Allah has cursed the Unbelievers and prepared for them a Blazing Fire

65>        To dwell therein forever: no protector will they find nor helper.

66>        The Day that their faces will be turned upside down in the Fire they will say: "Woe to us! would that we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Apostle!"

67        And they would say: "Our Lord! we obeyed our chiefs and our great ones and they misled us as to the (right) path.

68        "Our Lord! give them Double Penalty and curse them with a very great Curse!"

69>        O ye who believe! be ye not like those who vexed and insulted Moses but Allah cleared him of the (calumnies) they had uttered: and he was honorable in Allah's sight.

70        O ye who believe! fear Allah and (always) say a word directed to the Right:
71        That He may make your conduct whole and sound and forgive you your sins: he that obeys Allah and His Apostle has already attained the highest Achievement.

72        We did indeed offer the Trust to the Heavens and the Earth and the Mountains: but they refused to undertake it being afraid thereof: but man undertook it he was indeed unjust and foolish

73>        (With the result) that Allah has to punish the Hypocrites men and women and the Unbelievers men and women and Allah turns in Mercy to the Believers men and women: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving Most Merciful.

*** As repeatedly shown in the Quran, Allah is only merciful and forgiving to the followers of Muhammad.

All other human beings - at least 99% of humanity, at the time - are to be punished by the same merciful and forgiving god, to be consigned to eternal torture in his Hell, although they are innocent of any misdeeds, since they were pre-destined by Allah to commit them***
